Chez
Philippe is renound for its exquisite home made Pate and Gravalax
(fresh salmon cured with rock salt and sugar, flavoured with
fresh dill.) We also do great seasoned pulpetti (meatballs,)
petite quiches and mouth-watering grilled vegetables. For those
serious food lovers who just can’t decide what to start
with we can create a platter with a selection of their favourites.
Our
salads consist of 5 different types of crispy lettuce and can
be topped with anything from char-grilled vegetables to pouched
salmon with fresh herbs. All salads are topped off with our
tasty vinaigrette.
As
the majority of our clientele are regular patrons it is essential
that we keep our dishes interesting. It is for this reason that
we prepare our meals differently from time to time. You will
always be able to choose from a selection of prime fillet of
beef, chicken, quails, duck, lamb, pork and fresh salmon. There
is something to suit everyone’s appetite. Popular dishes
included succulent grilled quails in a honey and soy sauce dressed
with pine nuts and juicy pork fillets stuffed with fresh apple
sautéed in brandy with fresh sage and cream. All main
meals are served with crispy roasted potatoes and fresh vegetables.
You can now enjoy an interesting
Plateau du Fromage to finish off your meal. The selection is
beautifully presented on marble and is arranged in circle form
from the mildest to the most fermented. Choose between either
the dessert platter which consists of 3 cheeses or the main
course from which you have a selection of 5.
